Securahomes has designed a home security product that encompasses fire detection.
Designed to offer homeowners ‘all around’ piece of mind, Safety First, has been described as a comprehensive and fully two-way voice monitored wireless alert system.
It has been made to detect smoke and carbon monoxide fumes but also provides alerts against intruders.
Designed to send out emergency medical and threat or panic alerts for anyone living alone, the system can operate either by landline or Global System for Mobile Communications.
Securahomes technology director Tony Carney said: “The new Safety First system incorporates the very latest intelligent technology available.”
The system has also been designed to provide monitored detection for signs of intruders and offers a threat sequence for added protection.
Mobile alert buttons, dubbed key fobs, can also be incorporated to enable the system to monitor and react to medical emergencies, as well as reacting to panic attacks if someone feels threatened, Securahomes said. The technology also offers a ‘home alone’ alert for anyone unable to call on others in times of need.
Carney said: “The intelligent technology remains dormant until either it has been activated by someone in the home or the sensors are triggered.”
Described as virtually wireless, the system is monitored by two-way audio rather than CCTV for privacy.
